Yung-Q– This is the first comprehensive study to assess the effect of Viagra on male sexual function in an Indian community in Korea. We have assessed the effect of Viagra on male sexual function in a population of Korean men aged 18 to 65 years. This was a cross-sectional study of male participants from the Republic of Korea. We have been asked to record data from all patients who took Viagra, including those who used it for erectile dysfunction. A questionnaire was developed, and data from the questionnaire were reviewed by a third-party provider to determine if the patient had any history of heart disease or diabetes. Patients were divided into two groups: one group was treated with Viagra and the other group was treated with sildenafil (Viagra + Viagra) (Group A). The two groups had a mean age of 45 years (range: 17–67) and were comparable. Sildenafil had a significantly greater effect on erectile function than Viagra (p<0.001). Patients with erectile dysfunction (defined as inability to achieve and maintain an erection sufficient for sexual intercourse) were more likely to experience erectile dysfunction than patients without erectile dysfunction. The mean age of the patients in Group A was 33.5 years (range: 10–60) and was lower in Group B (14–41.5 years) than in Group C (13–39 years).
The average age of patients in Group A was 30.1 (range: 10–42) years. The mean duration of treatment with Viagra was 5.7 years (range: 1–18) and was higher in group A (11.9–19.9 years) than in Group B (7.3 years).
